The Air Pod“Hi, I’m sorry, I missed what you said”
She mumbled jumbled and then turned her head
“Hello!” How rude some people can be
Was she asking directions I failed to seeWhat did he mean “my dogs got no bollocks”
Was he talking to me “It must a she”
I think he’s on something don’t know his face
Completely ignored me seems lost in space“Shall we meet a seven” but we’ve never met!
“Make it seven thirty” what if I forget!
“Alright then eight” no seven thirties great!
But no one was home when I looked her in the eye
A reflection of myself just a passer bySee that woman she’s talking to herself
Looks like she’s well but you never can tell
And that man over there I think hes gone square
He’s walking in circles with his fingers in the airIs he talking to God and telling what to do
Is he talking to the birds but the sky is clear and blue
I guess it is a sign of too much indecision
Too much oral combat with the footy televisionThere’s a name for it a disease of some sort
‘cognito-psycho-consci-gone’ sounds like its a rought
I hope I never get it but I guess it doesn’t matter
Soon it will be normal to be seen in constant chatter

You can hire a poet for any reason you like. But the poet also has to agree!
The poets own poetry is what he does best and if that content is not appropriate then it will probably be a disaster!!
But the poet can also write and adapt poetry to suit an occassion.
